Roman S. Ortiz

Elder & Executive Pastor

Roman was born and raised in El Paso, Texas to an immigrant mother named Socorro.  The Lord blessed his life tremendously with his "adoption" by his God Parents Lloyd & Ella until they went to be with Jesus in '97 and '10 respectively.

Over the past 12 years he has served as the Chief Executive Officer to a nationally recognized workforce development organization called Project ARRIBA where he has spent most of his career loving people, improving procedures, managing and procuring private and public dollars, developing leaders and increasing the overall economic standing of the great City of El Paso.

Roman holds a Bachelor's in Business Degree and a Masters in Computer Information Systems.  He is most proud of his two beautiful daughters Adinah & Adelah and his stunning wife, Claudia.

His motto in life is found in 1 Peter 4:11, "whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

The Fellowship of the Believers

And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. - Acts 2:42-47
