MC Questions
- When reading through these verses, what are some of your initial thoughts?
- Would you say that the actions of Ananias and Sapphira were premeditated? Why is it dangerous for a Christian to premeditate sin? What could it suggest? (1 John 1:6 - 7)
- People can be fooled, but God cannot. How do we know this? Also, why is it so important that Peter tell Ananias, "You have not sinned against man but against God."? Why do you think we can often have greater remorse over wronging a friend or family member than God?
- Why is it important & an act of love to confront a fellow believer of their sin? Why do you think it is so difficult to confront others? If we don't confront others, does that Show we have a greater fear of man or God? Why is confronting our & other people's sin an act love & obedience to God?
- What are some ways we can lovingly confront people? Why is it so important we use the word when we are confronting and not relying on our opinion?
